Review: Maple Holistics All Natural Avocado Oil & Tea Tree Conditioner!

Hello, Beauties!

It's been a few weeks since my last post, and as I can now reveal, that's because I was taking some time to revamp Beauty by Bracco!

I've had the same layout for almost 3 years now, and I thought it was time to spruce things up a bit! I'm loving the new crisp & clean look. How do we like it?! Be sure to check out the side bars! I've added a lot of fun, new features.

In order to celebrate this new look, I'm bringing you a very exciting post, featuring the all natural and organic beauty brand, Maple Holistics!

Maple Holistics was sweet enough to send me some of their products to try out, so I thought I'd share a review with you all, and give you some tips on how you can snag some awesome free samples of products in their line.

Let's start out with some details about Maple Holistics, shall we?!

As I mentioned earlier, Maple Holistics is an all natural, holistic beauty brand featuring a range of products from bath & body, hair care, essential oils, DIY, and more!

Check out all of their products over at https://www.mapleholistics.com/products/. Just open the tab now. You'll thank me later!

Fun facts that I definitely always appreciate when I'm trying out a product: in addition to being all natural, their products are also cruelty free, safe for color-treated hair, & sulfate free!

As I've mentioned in previous posts, I've been very much into hair care lately. My hair dries out FAST and I'm desperate for products that will keep my hair as hydrated and silky as possible. That's why I was so excited to try the Maple Holistics Tea Tree Conditioner & Maple Holistics Avocado Oil! Let me tell you... I genuinley was NOT disappointed!

Let's start with the Avocado Oil!

The Avocado is described as a deep-tissue moisturizer for hair, face, and skin. Rich in Retinol & Vitamin E to reduce wrinkles, support skin rejuvenation, and hair growth!

Look at the ingredients here. Look.

100% Avocado Oil. That's it. More importantly, cold-pressed. If you're an OG reader, you can recall how much I raved about the importance of oils being cold-pressed during their production. Check out my very first post, raving about Josie Marain's Cold-Pressed Argan Oil. In short, by cold-pressing, you are not ridding the oil of any essential nutrients. This is incredibly important to know, as cold-pressing ensures you're getting the most out of these wonderful products.

Some (including myself) could be scared or put off by the thought of using an oil in their hair. Will it make my hair look greasy? Too shiny? I was definitely a bit apprehensive, but I was quickly put at ease when I saw the luscious results.

I used this product two ways!

As suggested on the back of the bottle, I took a tiny amount and added it to my shampoo. I massaged the shampoo in my hair as I normally do, with the balls of my fingers, and actually let it set there for about a minute. Do NOT scratch your scalp with your nails, people! We don't want to damage our scalps. Use the balls of your fingers to gently massage your hair products into your precious little heads.

Typically, when I rinse out my shampoo, my hair immediately feels super dry and straw-like. It is begging for that conditioner. This time, my hair actually felt a little softer than usual, but I wasn't going to get my hopes up yet...

When I got out of the shower, I squeezed a dime sized pump of the Avocado Oil into my hands, rubbed together, and first pressed the oil gently onto my face, moving in upwards motions, and then I just took the excess and ran my fingers through my hair from root to tips. I wanted to do this as a sort of leave-in conditioner. My hair is also pretty frizzy, so I wanted to see if this would keep the frizz at bay.

You can purchase the Avocado Oil HERE for just $12.65.

Next up, the Tea Tree Conditioner!

The Tea Tree Conditioner is described as a hair conditioning treatment that will condition and soften your hair with features of silk protein amino acids, Vitamin B5, & Keratin. It will help to improve thinning, dry, frizzy, brittle, static, wavy hair.

As I mentioned above, I really need help with my dry/damaged hair, so I was very excited to give this a try.

Take a look at the ingredients for this conditioner. It's comforting to read the back of a label, and be able to understand what the product actually contains.

How did I use it?

There was no fancy method to my use of the Tea Tree Conditioner. After I washed with my usual shampoo (which is from John Frieda, BTW), I massaged some of the conditioner into my hair from roots to ends, and I let it sit for about 2-3 minutes. I used too much the first time. Less is more with this product. You don't notice it until you start working it into the hair!

I started to feel the cooling sensation that's often associated with Tea Tree products (I don't really mind it. It's a little weird, but also nice?) and then I just rinsed it out! My hair after this... in combination with the Avocado Oil... was so. freaking. SOFT.

You can purchase the Tea Tree Conditioner HERE for just $12.77. You can also pair this with the Tea Tree Shampoo for only $19.97 - Check out that combo HERE .

The true test would be, however, how my hair feels after it dried.

I usually wrap my hair in a towel after I get out of the shower, and then after a while I'll just let it air dry (unless I'm feeling REALLY motivated). I decided to test out not using my typical leave-in conditioner, since I was allowing the Avocado Oil to play that role. After my hair dried, it remained soft! My hair is kind of naturally frizzy, but it really kept a silky shine! I also think my hair looked lighter and brighter (I'm a fake blonde). I really enjoyed that! It looked like I had just gotten my hair touched up.

All in all, I was really please with the results. Though, I've only tried it twice now, I've seen great results, and I feel like my hair looks, and is, so much healthier!

Can we just talk about prices for a quick second? For amazing ORGANIC beauty products, these prices are incredibly affordable.

Another cool thing that really draws me to this brand is their super sweet deal to try out their products for FREE! Seriously, pals. All you have to do is fill out a form, mention what product you'd like to try, & boom! Additionally, after they send you a free product, keep an eye on your email for information on how you can get a free full-sized product! MH does this because they want honest, constructive feedback for their products, and I think that's amazing.

That's all! We're back to our regularly scheduled programs! Next week, I'm bringing you either a Nordstrom clothing haul, or a What's in My Ipsy Glambag! (Depending on what gets here first!) I also have a really fun, incredibly simple hair tutorial coming for you in two weeks! I've been loving this style (especially because I am lazy when it comes to hair. I can't wait to share!)

Until then, Stay Beautiful
